DESCRIPTION:With an artist’s grace and a Caribbean soul\, the Dalí Quart
 et is today’s freshest voice in Classical and Latin-American music. Anch
 ored in both Venezuela's El Sistema and in American classical conservatory
  traditions\, this exciting quartet combines the best of both worlds.\n\nT
 he Dalí Quartet’s captivating performances of traditional string quarte
 t and Latin-American repertoire create an extraordinary concert experience
  that takes listeners on an eclectic journey of rhythm and sound. In the s
 pirit of famed Spanish artist Salvador Dalí\, the Dalí Quartet embraces 
 imagination and excellence as central to its art form.\n\nThe quartet is c
 omprised of award-winning solo and chamber artists who have appeared at Ca
 rnegie Hall\, toured widely in Europe and Asia\, collaborated with some of
  the finest composers of our time\, and recorded for Dorian\, Centaur and 
 Naxos. Based in Philadelphia\, the Dalí Quartet has brought the Latin-Cla
 ssical connection to television\, festivals\, educational\, and presenting
  organizations on tour in Canada\, the U.S.\, and South America. Recent an
 d upcoming engagements include performances for distinguished chamber musi
 c series and major universities in New York\, Toronto\, Washington D.C.\, 
 Detroit\, Portland (OR)\, Tulsa\, San Jose (CA)\, East Lansing\, Des Moine
 s and beyond.\n\nThe group's adventurous and entertaining programming incl
 udes new works for quartet with percussionist Orlando Cotto\, and quintets
  both Latin and classical with the renowned clarinetist Ricardo Morales\, 
 principal clarinetist of the Philadelphia Orchestra.\n\nThe Dalí Quartet 
 serves as Quartet in Residence for the Arts &amp\; Community Network where
  it hosts the Dali Quartet International Music Festival. The Dalí is also
  a Resident Ensemble of the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra in Philadelphia\
 , serves as West Chester University's 2015-2016 Brandywine Artist-in-Resid
 ence\, and IRIS Orchestra Resident Ensemble as well. A part of the Dalí Q
 uartet’s mission includes the presentation of many Latin-Classical educa
 tional programs each year – its popular events for students in grades K-
 12 are complemented by interactive concerts for the entire family. On tour
 \, the group gives master-classes and professional development workshops f
 or students at colleges and universities\, has inaugurated a library serie
 s for the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society\, and has created outreach pr
 ogramming for all the 4th grade students in Tulsa’s Any Given Child prog
 ram.\n\nTrained by world-renowned artists\, members of the Dalí Quartet a
 re products of Venezuela's social and music education movement El Sistema 
 and have studied at esteemed institutions such as the Cleveland Institute 
 of Music\, Yale University\, Indiana University Bloomington and the Simón
  Bolivar Conservatory in Caracas\, Venezuela.\nThe Dali Quartet is represe
