DESCRIPTION:With fresh interpretations of the classical music canon mixed w
 ith works by 20th and 21st century composers\, Borromeo delivers visionary
  performances. On the program are works by Ludwig van Beethoven and Charle
 s Ives. The CSU string faculty joins the ensemble for an octet arrangement
  of Johanne Sebastian Bach's motet "Sing to the Lord a New Song.”\n\nBui
 lding on the foundation of the classical music tradition\, but with a cont
 emporary edge\, the co-produced season features world-class performers and
  ensembles\, performing at the University Center for the Arts and the Linc
