CANCELLED: 76 Trombones Needed!

Per Colorado State University policies regarding COVID-19, all School of Music, Theatre, and Dance events and related activities are cancelled through May 15th.

CSU has no greater responsibility than the health of our students and broader community; therefore, these decisions have been made out of an abundance of caution due to the rapidly changing nature of this virus.

For up-to-date information on COVID-19, visit the CSU Public Safety site.

Our Concert Band concert on May 3, directed by Dr. Erik Johnson, is a celebration of CSU and features a song that represents each college in the university. For the College of Liberal Arts, we will feature our new trombone professor, Drew Leslie. To accomplish this, and to bring our community together, we are performing “76 Trombones” from The Music Man. <

We need as many trombonists as possible, so we’re inviting all middle school, high school, and college students, alumni, faculty, and community members to join us onstage for the concert!

There will be a rehearsal on Sunday, April 26 at 5:30 p.m. led by Dr. Leslie, and a sound check on Sunday, May 3 at 5 p.m. before the 7:30 p.m. concert.
