SUMMARY:Fall 2022 Bassoon Workshops
DESCRIPTION:Are you a band director interested in understanding the bassoon
  better and helping your students more easily? Do you have new bassoonists
  who have switched from another instrument and are looking for some help?\
 n\nGrab a bassoon and join the FREE virtual bassoon transfer workshops w
 ith Cayla Bellamy\, assistant professor of bassoon at CSU!\n\nSessions tak
 e place in September and October may be taken in any order\, at any time\,
  and repeated as many times as helpful.\n\nNote that some sessions are des
 igned specifically with teachers in mind\, some are geared just for the be
 ginning or intermediate level bassoonist\, and some are open to anyone.\n\
 nTopics will include (but not be limited to!)\n\n 	understanding fingering
 s\n 	the break: half hole and venting techniques\n 	reeds: purchasing and 
 adjusting\n 	intonation\n 	vibrato\n 	equipment needs and repair\n 	open q
 uestion and answer time\n\nIn each session\, we will relate these special 
 topics to bassoon fundamentals of posture\, breathing\, and embouchure for
