SUMMARY:2019 Organ Week Concert: Michael Unger\, Solo Organ Recital / FREE
DESCRIPTION:The seventh annual Organ Week\, a summer organ festival present
 ed by the School of Music\, Theatre\, and Dance at Colorado State Universi
 ty\, takes place June 17—20 with concerts and special events held at the
  University Center for the Arts\, First United Methodist Church\, and St. 
 Luke’s Episcopal Church in Fort Collins. The 2019 edition features the C
 anadian Brass and world-renowned organists performing major solo and colla
 borative works. As an added bonus\, a series of free public lectures and m
 asterclasses is also being offered.\n\nMultiple award-winning performer Mi
 chael Unger performs Bach-influenced works for organ and harpsichord by Fe
 lix Mendelssohn\, Robert Schumann\, and Carl Phillip Emanuel Bach. Unger i
 s the organ and harpsichord professor at the University of Cincinnati Coll
 ege-Conservatory of Music\, organist of Cincinnati’s historic Isaac M. W
 ise – Plum Street Temple\, and often appears worldwide as a soloist and 
 chamber musician. Don’t miss this special opportunity to hear a free con
