Children’s Singing Camp

A fun day-camp of singing games, choir, folk dancing, keyboard improvisation, and movement with sessions for 1st – 6th graders. Students attending the camp will be provided with quality instruction from graduate-level musicians and teachers specializing in Elementary Music Education. COST: $30 for one day - includes snack, craft, and T-shirt.


  • July 24: 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., students entering 5th/6th grade
    July 25: 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., students entering 3rd/4th grade
    July 26: 11 a.m. - 4:15 p.m., students entering 1st/2nd grade
  • Camp drop-off is 15 minutes before start in the lobby of the University Center for the Arts

The Children's Singing Camp takes place during the Colorado Kodály Institute (CKI) – a component of the CSU Master of Music in Music Education with Kodály Emphasis program. The institute is a dynamic training center for elementary classroom music teachers, independent music instructors, and secondary music teachers interested in taking their teaching, conducting, musicianship, and depth of knowledge about music education to new heights.
